Prince Edward Island | Canada | Driving Tour | Road Trip | Do-It-Yourself Port Day | Teacup Rock | What to See
While driving the perimeter of Canada's Prince Edward Island, we could not resist the chance to stop at Teacup
Rock. The rock is located on Thunder Cove Beach and is a fast disintegrating natural rock formation. I've seen
some past photos of the formation which make me believe that it won't be here forever - it may even fall over
soon. (While we were there, most of the coastline was roped off since it was dangerous. Only local residents
could access the location, except for those walking along the beach.)

Do you enjoy finding natural rock formations that have a familiar shape?
The fast disintegrating Teacup Rock on Canada's Prince Edward Island is a pretty cool natural rock formation.
The sad news is that, based on past photos of the rock, it seems that it is slowly but surely eroding away. I sure
hope that we can still see the rock formation when we next visit PEI.
Where have you seen your most memorable rock formation?
