Upon reaching the Top of the Rock at Gibraltar's Nature Reserve, you'll have an opportunity to soak in the panoramic views. (If the weather cooperates, in addition to the land of and water surrounding Gibraltar, you may actually be able to see the northern coastline of Africa.) You likely won't be the only primates soaking in the view during your visit. Be on the lookout for the resident Barbary Apes (Barbary Macaques) at the Top of the Rock (and elsewhere in the Nature Reserve). But, don't get too close - they may try to "steal" some of your belongings!

Since I always thought I wanted a monkey as a pet, one of the things that I was most excited about seeing during our stay in Gibraltar was the Barbary Apes. Needless to say I was thrilled when we found some of the apes enjoying the view (and snacking) near the Top of the Rock!
