Gibraltar | Upper Rock Nature Reserve | Bridge | Windsor Suspension Bridge | History | World War II | Bay of Gibraltar | Pedestrian
Measuring in at just over 230 feet in length and less than ten years old, the Windsor Suspension Bridge is the first bridge of its kind in Gibraltar. Located in the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, the bridge has become popular for the spectacular views of the bay, the sea and the Old Town below. Those with a fear of heights may want to avoid looking down as the bridge crosses a rather deep ravine!

Social Media Description
As we hiked through Gibraltar's Upper Rock Nature Reserve, we found several World War II historical sites. In the midst of them was the Windsor Suspension Bridge along with a great view of the surrounding land and water from above.
Fun fact: The bridge was primarily assembled in Spain and transported to Gibraltar for installation!
