We had so much fun trying different dishes in Zanzibar. We had read about Forodhani Gardens and actually chose from the many tempting vendors for our first two dinners. (We suggest trying Zanzibar pizzas for dinner and dessert! Oh, and the sugarcane juice with ginger and lime is a must!)
Even though we couldn't get reservations at the highly recommended Emerson on Hurumzi for rooftop dining, our meals at Cape Town Fish Market and Lukmaan were also fantastic. (The cafeteria style ordering at Lukmaan allowed us to share/sample a variety of dishes at our table ... and all were yummy!)
