"Skydiving" at Sea on Odyssey of the Seas

As a member of the Royal Caribbean Quantum Class cruise ships, Odyssey of the Seas is one of several homes to a RipCord by iFLY. This skydiving simulator is perfect for anyone wanting just a taste of what it might be like to skydive - without actually jumping out of an airplane. Don't worry, safety precautions are still in place for those considering a freefall. There's a "training class", required flight gear and an instructor standing by your side as you fly!

What is the most extreme sport that you've participated in?

Neither Scott nor I are big risk takers when it comes to extreme sports. We would never consider skydiving, but we were both willing to give RipCord by iFLY a try! In fact, we even signed up for a second chance. Unfortunately, due to the heavy ocean swell, my second chance was cancelled ... so we only have pictures of Scott. (We were in the same group for our first "flights" and couldn't get pictures while "in the air".)

Helpful hint: If you want pictures of your flight, make sure someone you know is snapping photos or video from the viewing platform. You can also purchase photos from the cruise line - the free "loyalty" photo is not valid for iFLY photos!
