Antelope Canyon, a Navajo Tribal Park, is an easy day trip from Arizona's Monument Valley area. The only way to
get up close and personal with this natural creation is to join a guided tour. While photos of the "slot canyon" will
take your breath away, nothing beats walking through the canyon in person. Guests are led by a guide through
the narrow sandy pathway between the sandstone "walls" shaped by wind and rain. Depending on when you visit,
your photos may look completely different from others that you've seen - it all depends on how the light reflects
inside!

Have you been to Monument Valley?
While RVing through the desert southwest in 2018, we spent several days in the Monument Valley area. One of
the day trips that we took was to Antelope Canyon. For years we had been looking at the Windows wallpaper on
our computers, and we finally had a chance to see it in person!
