Ferry service along False Creek is one fun way to explore the areas adjacent to the creek. Since June 1986, the Aquabus has been transporting both commuters and tourists around central Vancouver. Aquabus started their service with just one boat but grew to four boats by the start of the World's Fair (EXPO 86). More than half of the company's ferries are now Cyquabuses (boats that can also transport bicycles, strollers and wheelchairs).

The ferry services in Vancouver make for a fun way to get around (and to enjoy a ride passing by the communities along the banks of False Creek). We spent the better part of an afternoon enjoying a ride between the 8 Aquabus stops from The Village to Hornby Street and back again.
