Iconic Felucca Sailing on the Nile in Aswan

Whether it is modes of transportation, food, clothing or something else, when asked what you would expect to see when traveling in a certain region, oftentimes distinct images come to mind. For some, it's the iconic boats known as feluccas found sailing along the rivers of Egypt. With a single sail, a felucca is an open-deck boat where passengers are often seen relaxing on bright and colorful pillows. While many opt for shorter sailings, others choose feluccas for longer sailings on the Nile River in place of the more luxurious river boats.
