Having never previously heard of it, we recently visited Bankersmith, Texas (near Fredericksburg). Today, Bankersmith is home to a restaurant, bar and dance hall ... plus remnants of a ghost town. Whether the buildings were original or recreated, it was still fun exploring what was once a real town with a train station.
