From the hotel entrance inside the station and the "boarding area" where check-in takes place to the Orbital Bar and more, the futuristic theme is apparent. Each of the modern "orbital rooms", "stratosphere rooms" and "orbital suites" carry on with the space theme. Although there are no space age vehicles available for transportation around the city, guests can enjoy easy public transit from the station below.

We chose the Barcelo Sants Hotel in Barcelona solely because of its convenient location above the Sants Train Station. When we reserved a room, we didn't know about the hotel's modern and futuristic design nor did we realize that it was part of the same hotel chain as the resort we had stayed at in Punta Cana earlier in the year!
