Norwegian Cruise Line | Private Island | Belize | Harvest Caye | Wildlife | Animal Sanctuary | Caribbean | Jungle | Snorkeling | What to See
On our cruise aboard the Norwegian Escape, we stopped at NCL's Private Island in Belize. As this was our first visit to Harvest Caye, we decided to enjoy a rather lazy day exploring the island on our own. We were pleased that there were a number of things to see at no extra cost to passengers. We enjoyed the butterfly and wildlife/nature sanctuary. The sanctuary had a number of animals indigenous to the island such as this toucan with it's wonderful tropical coloring!

When cruising, do you enjoy ports of call at the private islands owned by the various cruise lines?
Although they are not always our favorite as we find many of the things to do on the expensive side, we did enjoy our day on Harvest Caye. The small island in Belize owned by Norwegian Cruise Lines did have a number of things to see and do at no extra cost to passengers.
