Is it a Whale or a Cathedral? It's CPH!


    

Since its opening in 1925, Copenhagen International Airport has become one of the busiest international airports in Europe. The unusual architecture in the building which connects the main terminals is truly eye-catching. It is understandable why Danielsen Architecture won the design award and was chosen to complete the construction project.

How do you fill your time during an airport layover?

Our mid-October flight from Miami brought us to Copenhagen. CPH is one of the biggest and busiest airports found in the Scandinavian countries.

With just under 5 hours before our next flight, we had time for a real breakfast plus some airport exploring. We found this cool architecture between the terminals. In our opinion, either "whale" or "cathedral", the nicknames given, are great descriptions!
