Believe it or not, this Texas girl had never built a snowman ... until today! Having lived in the south all of my life (plus a few years in California), there's not too many opportunities for snowman building. Finally, we were in the right place at the right time.
We cut our winter RV trip short to get home to make sure that all was well. Since freezing temperatures like we have in the Austin area this week are so rare, we don't usually need to wrap or drip faucets. We made it back just a day before the snow ... and they are still projecting 4 more days of below freezing temperatures!
Fun fact: Our snowman is celebrating Mardi Gras with his beads ... and hoping you have a Happy Mardi Gras too!
