Known as the "Chief Dog Officer" or "Chief Smile Officer", Sailor travels aboard the Star of the Seas cruise ship. It is said that the idea of having a furry friend sail on Royal Caribbean's Icon Class cruise ships came from executives who realized that both passengers and crew members miss their pets back at home. Sailor and Rover (who sails on Icon of the Seas) are Golden Retrievers who "spread joy, greet guests and act as a comforting family dog for passengers and crew members".
