As with most things the "Welcome Event" for Crown and Anchor Society "Top Tier" members is evolving as the years march on. What used to be a cocktail party is now often held earlier in the day (and therefore much lighter on the cocktails!). On Oasis and Icon class ships, the "Exclusive Top-Tier Event" is sometimes hosted in the AquaTheater with a short performance by one or more of the slack liners. The event includes recognition of passengers reaching pinnacle status as well as the cruisers on board with the most loyalty points.

Another "Top Tier Event" in an AquaTheater - this time on a Royal Caribbean Icon Class ship. Our diamond status earned us an invitation to the event during our early May Eastern Caribbean sailing on Star of the Seas. Great performance by a couple of the slack liners!
