In addition to being a very picturesque location, the Bergen Fish Market is one of the country's
most popular outdoor markets. It's hard to believe that the market, which sells fruits,
vegetables, flowers and plants, along with seafood, has been in operation since the 1200s.
Originally located in Bryggen, the market was relocated to its current home in the mid 1500's.
There's also restaurants for those who can't wait to purchase their fish, take it home and cook it!

Very near the Port of Bergen is the Bergen Fish Market. There are so many vendors offering a a
variety of fish (plus so much more). It's great for photo opportunities, but even better for fresh
or cooked seafood!
Would you order seafood from a fish market on your first visit to a country? #WordyExplorers
