Washington | Port Angeles | Olympic National Park | Hurricane Ridge | Lake Crescent | Madison Falls | Marymere Falls | Road Trip | Hiking
Truly seeing the variety that nature brings to Olympic National Park requires more than a single day visit. But, if that's all that you have, there's still some variety to be had! Convenient to those staying in Port Angeles, Hurricane Ridge is one of the park's most popular destinations. With mountain peaks, scenic vistas, wildlife and hiking trails, it's a great place to start your day. As time permits, add the "lakes area" with spots including Lake Crescent and Marymere Falls.

Social Media Description
We made it to Washington's Olympic National Park on Day 10 of our road trip. (We have a personal goal of exploring all of the 63 National Parks in the US, and Olympic is the third on this trip.) After hiking in the Hurricane Ridge area, we spent a bit of time at Lake Crescent before wrapping up our day with a couple of waterfall hikes.
Once you have travelled, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quietest chambers. The mind can never break off from the journey. - Pat Conroy
