More than a Restaurant: Dusty Road is an Experience!

When in Zimbabwe, eat like the locals at Dusty Road Township Experience. The venue is a fun and unique place to explore. The colors are bright, the "furniture" is all recycled and you'll be surprised at how so many traditional items have been repurposed in ways you would never expect. All ingredients are fresh and locally farmed, grown and produced. Menu items at the restaurant are all prepared in the same way that the locals cook - in cast iron pots sitting atop open fires.

Social Media Description

How much in advance do you typically make dining reservations when you travel?

We missed out on a meal in the first city on our African adventure because we didn't make reservations far enough in advance. I was not going to let that happen again, so I sent in a request more than a week in advance ... and so glad that I did.

Dusty Road Township Experience is a "must visit" for anyone planning a stay in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. It's the perfect opportunity to try local cuisine cooked by locals ... and if you're lucky, you may even get to meet Sarah Lilford, the woman behind the restaurant.

Do you usually make dining reservations when you travel or do you prefer to just wing it?
