Many African safari goers plan their trip around the Great Wildebeest Migration. Year after year, the wildebeest travel from the southern Serengeti to the Maasai Mara in their search for better grazing and water. As the year progresses, the wildebeest leave Kenya and the northern Serengeti and return to the south once again, hoping that they can avoid the crocodiles and other predators.

Social Media Description
During our first afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park, we saw a lot of wildebeests ... or so we thought. It was during our second day in the Serengeti that we were actually hoping to see the great wildebeest migration. That's when we quickly learned that we really hadn't seen many wildebeest the day prior!
