Spain | Andalusia | Seville | Guadalquivir River | Triana Bridge | Torre Del Oro | Bullring | Plaza De Toros De Las Maestranza | Old Town | Architecture
Spain's only navigable river meanders through the Andalusian city of Seville. With a wide promenade on the bank of the Guadalquivir River just steps from Old Town, the river is popular today with both locals and visitors alike. A stroll beside the river passes by the Triana Bridge (Puente de Triana) and is a short walk from the bullring (Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza) and the Torre Del Oro (Gold Tower).

First up on our return visit to Seville, Spain was a walk along the Guadalquivir River. It was just a couple of blocks away from the first ever hostel that we stayed at so it was the perfect way to start our day.
And if travel is like love, it is, in the end, mostly because it's a heightened state of awareness, in which we are mindful, receptive, undimmed by familiarity and ready to be transformed. That is why the best trips, like the best love affairs, never really end. - Pico Iyer
