Unexpected Weather Conditions Near Sheep Mountain Lodge
During the month of August, daily low temperatures typically range from the mid-30s to upper-40s in Glacier View, Alaska. Most days are cool with evening temperatures dropping. The range for the high temperatures during the same period is more compressed (mid-50s to 60). The average range doesn't mean that it can't snow ... as evidenced by the several inches of accumulation on August 31, 2026!
