Kimberly Akimbo, touring across the United States as part of the Broadway Across America season ticket series, was a 2023 Tony-winner for Best Musical. The story is about Kimberly Levaco, a teenage girl whose body has matured into that of an old woman before her age is even that of an adult. It's heartwarming to see some of the friendships that she has with her high school peers and how they strive to live their best life!

Another 2025 Broadway Across America musical - this one in our home city of Austin. "Kimberly Akimbo" was a new one for us - we hadn't heard of it, didn't know the story line or what songs would be included. It's kind of fun to be surprised - especially when it is a good surprise!
