After our long flight to Kauai (and 5 hour time change), we were starving. Our traveling companions would be arriving in under 3 hours, so we didn't want to veer too far away from the airport. We made a stop at The Fish Express in Lihue and grabbed a to go order of Kailua Pork to share. Lydgate Beach Park, a favorite of ours from previous visits to the island, had a perfect spot for us to dine while enjoying our first views of the Hawaiian waters!
