The Incredible Incan Creation of Machu Picchu

Peru | Machu Picchu | Aguas Calientes | Cusco | Andes Mountains | Inca | Sacred Valley | Urubamba Valley
The Incan citadel of Machu Picchu is an incredible sight - even on a gloomy and rainy day. Like
many other creations of the Incas, it's hard to imagine how it was possible to build something
this amazing back in the 15th century. How can this still be standing in all of its glory hundreds
of years later? More recent structures built with much more "technology" can't seem to stand
the test of time like Machu Picchu has!

Whether hiking or taking the train, it's easy to understand why Machu Picchu makes many "must
see" destination lists. Although we didn't luck out on the weather front, our visit was still
unforgettable! #WordyExplorers #MacchuPicchu #peru #SacredValley #travel #TravelBlog
