Malaysia | Kuala Lumpur | Melaka | Melacca | Jonker Street | Jonker Walk | World Heritage Park | Dining | Shopping | Souvenirs | Night Market | Day Trip
Upon arriving in Melaka, it's easy to understand why Jonker Street is so popular. There's a good reason why the street is always crowded with people - there's lots to see and do! There's options for finding the perfect souvenir to remember your visit, places to eat and drink and even some amazing architecture. While you're in the neighborhood, don't miss strolling through the World Heritage Park. And, if you happen to be visiting during a Chinese celebration (such as the weeks leading up to the Lunar New Year), there's extra excitement and decor to check out.

Social Media Description
We had a couple of hours during our excursion to explore Melaka on our own - especially the famous Jonker Street (or Jonker Walk as it is usually referred to). We were there during the day so we didn't get to see the night market, but there was plenty to feast our eyes on to fill our time.
