Utah | Mexican Hat Rock Formation | Monument Valley | Sand Stone | Erosion
The Mexican Hat rock formation was formed by wind and rain erosion in such a way as to keep the more
dense core lasting longer. It is located near Monument Valley and is visible from the road. The balance of
the formation will, unfortunately, probably not last much longer. If you are in southern Utah, you should
definitely try to see it if you can!
