A Majestic Experience at the Napali Coast Sea Cave and Arch

During our trip to Kauai, we enjoyed a sunset sail to the Napali Coastline of Kauai. There are so many magical natural sights on this rugged and remote coastline. The most notable were the dramatic green cliffs dropping into the blue ocean and the sea caves and arches right next to small isolated beaches. We lucked out during our sailing with a "performance" by some spinner dolphins who showed off their flying skills plus a tremendous sunset.

There's only three ways to see the rugged but beautiful coastline known as the Napali Coast. The least expensive (and the one that gets you the most exercise) is by hiking. For a middle of the road priced excursion, you can see the coastline from a boat that sails by. The most luxurious (and priciest, of course), is to see the coast on a flightseeing tour. Over the last 14 years, we have hiked a part of the Kalalau Trail plus seen the coast by helicopter and boat.
