Germany | Bavaria | Munich | Munchen | Nymphenburg Palace | Schloss Nymphenburg | Architecture | Royal Palace
Construction began in the mid 1600s of what is known today as Schloss Nymphenburg (Nymphenburg Palace). The palace was completed in about 1679 and has undergone improvements and updates through the nearly 350+ years since. Originally a summer residence for Bavarian royalty, Nymphenburg Palace today is still used as a home but is open to the public for tours.

Social Media Description
We started our final day in Munich with a tour of Nymphenburg Palace.
Fun fact: When originally built, Schloss Nymphenburg was two hours away from Munich's city center. Due to Munich's growth over the last 300+ years, from central Munich it now only takes about 15 to 20 minutes to reach the palace using public transportation!
