"Take a Stand for Our Sands" and "Leave Only Footprints" are the two campaigns in Orange Beach, Alabama encouraging beach goers to go green. Long strolls on the white sandy shore are a great way to see (and not harm) the beach - especially in the morning or at sunset. It's okay to leave your mark in the form of footprints or a message "written" in the sand - just be aware that the gulf waters will likely erase that message before it reaches the world!

How do you pass time at the beach?
We love taking long strolls on the sand - especially when it's white powdery sand like on the shores of Orange Beach, Alabama. We "left our mark" as we walked to the east from our chairs, but it had already been erased by the waves when we returned to our seats.
