One of the best things about travel is learning about other cultures. A port day in Lombok, Indonesia provides an excellent opportunity to see (and even do) life as a local. During the Tetebatu Walking Tour with Jonny Tour Guide, you'll have an opportunity to walk through a rice field with locals planting rice for their future consumption. See both men and women participate in the planting - each with their assigned "jobs". If you'd like, you can even have a chance to help with the planting!

During our walking tour through the rice paddies of Tetebatu, it was interesting to see the daily life of the locals as they worked together to plant rice. Scott jumped at the opportunity to help out with the planting (even if only for a short period of time)!
