Great Day at the Playa Porto Mari on Curacao


    

While on the island of Curacao, we visited Playa Porto Mari for relaxing at the beach and snorkeling. After snorkeling by the floating swimming dock and taking photos of many of the fish, we rested in the shade and watched all of the activity on the beach. Aside from groups of people all enjoying the sun, we spotted some birds, lizards and iguanas!

Snorkeling or a beach day?

We decided to book the "All West Beach Hopping" excursion with Irie Tours during our port day in Curacao. The all day tour made a few quick stops at some local sites before some longer beach stops. Our last stop of the day was at Playa Porto Mari where a few of us decided to extend our time. We found some shade, took advantage of the lounge chairs and even enjoyed some great snorkeling. We loved our outing because we got to experience the best of both worlds!
