When visiting the great city of Kansas City, known as the fountain city or Seville's sister city, we like to visit the River Market along the Missouri River. Once a haven for the mobsters of the 30's, this area has been revitalized. It now includes mixed use living and working plus a great open air farmer's market. For museum lovers, the Arabia is a great museum of a sunken riverboat found in a farmer's field. It is filled with great treasures from the 1800's. Our favorite place in the market is the shop that sells beignets - just like from New Orleans!
