Seville, located in the southernmost region of Spain known as Andalucia (or Andalusia), is filled with interesting architecture dating back many years. The city is home to a wide variety of architectural styles including Baroque, Gothic, Mudejár (Muslim/Islamic and Christian fusion) and Renaissance. The bell tower of the Seville Cathedral was actually a minaret (La Giralda) that was part of the mosque previously located on the same land.
