Between mid-May and mid-September, visitors to Denali National Park have two to three opportunities to attend a Sled Dog Demonstration (and "meet" the dogs). The Alaskan Huskies, along with a team of Park Rangers and volunteers, demonstrate the traditional Alaskan mode of travel and answer guest questions about the one and only national park team of sled dogs in the United States.

It was interesting to watch the Alaskan Husky sled dogs at Denali National Park. Fun fact: In addition to honoring historical tradition, the dogs travel on multi-night trips through wilderness areas in the park (hauling supplies, etc.) where no motorized vehicles are allowed!
