California | Mineral | Lassen Volcanic National Park | Sulphur Works | Geothermal | Hydrothermal | Mud Pots | Fumaroles | Hot Springs
Just a couple of miles from the Mineral, California entrance to Lassen Volcanic National Park is one of the must see stops along the park's 30-mile long scenic drive. Accessible from a paved sidewalk leading from a parking area, "Sulphur Works" is an easily accessible geothermal area. The area is home to multiple viewpoints on both sides of the road where park visitors can watch the earth in "hydrothermal action"!

Social Media Description
Over the next couple of weeks we'll be posting some additional pictures and videos from our 40 days of visiting 8 national parks and so much more. Lassen Volcanic was the first of the national parks we visited on our adventure, and the boiling mud pots in "Sulphur Works" are very close to the park's southwest entrance.
Once you have travelled, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quietest chambers. The mind can never break off from the journey. - Pat Conroy
