From the Sands of Hahei Beach to a View That Can't Be Beat!

The Coromandel Peninsula is known for its natural beauty - from the sandy beaches to the lush greenery and, of course, the Cathedral Cove Marine Reserve. With limited time, it can be hard to see it all. Although the hike to Te Pare Pa Point is mostly uphill, it's one place to get a bird's eye view of what the peninsula is known for. From the beach or parking area, walk to the end of Pa Road and you can't miss the signs for Te Pare Point Historic Reserve.

It was mostly an uphill hike (but not a long one) out to Te Pare Pa Point. We made it to the top, and the good new is that it was all downhill from there!

Check to make sure that you are following us so that you don't miss our post tomorrow with the view from the top!
