People who are interested in visiting all of the national parks in the United States will find three in Washington state: Olympic, Mount Ranier and North Cascades. Driving from one to another takes some time, but you can see more of the state and learn some history if you plan your route. Between Mount Ranier and North Cascades, you can visit Snoqualmie famous for its 270 foot waterfall. Concrete is one of the gateway cities to North Cascades.

Day 15 was devoted to getting us from Mt. Ranier National Park to North Cascades National Park. To break up the drive, we made a return visit to the town of Snoqualmie to take in the falls from both the upper & lower platforms. After reaching Concrete, Washington (home city of our 2-night hotel stay), we explored the small town on foot.
