When planning a road trip route through the Pacific Northwest, be sure to do your research on things to see and do. Between the cities of Mineral, California (near Lassen Volcanic National Park) and Fort Klamath, Oregon (near Crater Lake National Park), it's easy to fill a day with unique sights along your drive. Redding, Mount Shasta, Dunsmuir and McCloud (all in California) plus Klamath Falls (Oregon) have a variety of interesting stops.
