While snorkeling in the waters of Bora Bora in French Polynesia, I swam around the perimeter of a coral head and boom - right there was this huge moray eel staring me in the face! I was able to snap a quick photo, although it is a little blurry. But, I didn't want to get too close, you know?

What is the most exotic sea creature that you have seen?

We both love to snorkel, and our favorite area for snorkeling has been in the waters of French Polynesia. We saw so many exotic sea creatures - ones that you don't see most other places. While on a private snorkeling tour in the waters of Bora Bora in 2014, we made several snorkeling stops. My favorite sea creature was definitely this moray eel that I spotted. I only wish my photo could have been more clear - but I wasn't going to get any closer than I already was!
